Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of services provided by Cue & Play Lounge (“we”, “our”, “us”), located at Tenancy 3/57 Compton Rd, Underwood QLD 4119, Australia.

By accessing our website (https://cueandplaylounge.com.au), making a booking, purchasing membership, attending our venue, or participating in events, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. Services Provided

Cue & Play Lounge provides indoor recreational gaming services including pool, snooker, darts, board games, café services, tournaments, and corporate events.

 

2. Bookings and Payments

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Bookings may be made online, by phone, or in person.
  • Full or partial payment may be required to confirm certain bookings or events.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing without prior notice.

 

3. Refund Policy

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

  • Refunds are provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • No refund will be provided for change of mind.
  • If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, we may retain part or full payment.
  • Corporate event deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • In case of venue closure or unforeseen circumstances from our side, customers will be offered rescheduling or refund.

 

4. Membership Terms (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

Membership plans provide discounted hourly table rates subject to the following conditions:

4.1 General Membership Rules

  • Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
  • Membership benefits are non-transferable.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Discounts apply only to table bookings and not to café purchases unless specified.
  • Management reserves the right to suspend or cancel membership for misconduct.

4.2 Bronze Membership

  • 15% discount on table bookings.
  • Subject to availability.

4.3 Silver Membership

  • 25% discount on table bookings.
  • Priority booking during peak hours (subject to availability).

4.4 Gold Membership

  • 35% discount on table bookings.
  • Priority booking privileges.
  • Invitations to exclusive tournaments or promotional events (where applicable).

 

5. Venue Rules and Conduct

  • All guests must treat equipment and property with care.
  • Any intentional damage may result in repair charges.
  • Abusive, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests.
  • Minors must comply with supervision requirements where applicable.

 

6. Strong Legal Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law:

  • Participation in games and activities is at your own risk.
  • Cue & Play Lounge is not liable for injuries arising from misuse of equipment.
  • We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

 

7. Photo and Video Consent

By entering our premises or participating in tournaments or events, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Photos and videos may be taken for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.
  • Images may be used on our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.
  • If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, you must inform staff in writing.

 

8. CCTV Surveillance

For safety and security purposes, our premises are monitored by CCTV cameras.

  • CCTV is used to ensure safety of customers and staff.
  • Footage may be used for security investigations.
  • CCTV recordings are stored securely and handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, and materials remain the property of Cue & Play Lounge and may not be reproduced without written permission.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

 

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any updates.
